Community Partner Spotlight: NAACP New Brunswick

This month, we are featuring the New Brunswick Area NAACP! The NAACP was founded in 1909 and is the nation’s older and largest civil rights organization. The New Brunswick Branch is one of over 2,000 NAACP local units across the country. This branch serves the following municipalities: Bound Brook, East Brunswick, Franklin Township (Somerset County), Highland Park, Hillsborough, Middlesex Borough, Milltown, New Brunswick, North Brunswick, Piscataway, Sayreville, Somerville, South Brunswick, and South River. Webinars covering topics such as health insurance and financial planning, as well as virtual conversations about criminal justice reform are a few of the most recent events held online.
